Start here! Starting point of the trip to Kamakura

The hottest tourist point that is located in the East side of Kamakura Station. Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine is always crowded with tourists all year round. Restaurants great for lunch, souvenir shops and cafés are lined up in Komachi Dori Street and Wakamiya Oji Avenue.

Kamakura Station West Exit / Yuigahama (Kamakuraeki Nishiguchi / Yuigahama

The touristic hot-spot “Beniaraibenzaiten” is located in this area! You can also enjoy shopping on the two top major shopping streets

This is a calm residential area. There are several famous temples within walking distance of the station. There are sophisticated cafés and shops on Onari Dori Street and Yuigahama Odori Avenue, where you can enjoy window-shopping.

This area has many touristic attractions, including the Great Buddha of Kamakura at Kotokuin Temple and Hasedera Temple famous for its beautiful garden all year around. There are also many beautiful hydrangea gardens that attract tourists in early Summer.
